Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all bookings, tours, safaris, transfers, hotel reservations, flight bookings, beach holidays, and related travel services provided by Savannah Knights Adventures Limited (“SK Adventures”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By booking or participating in any service offered by SK Adventures, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Bookings & Payments
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
A deposit may be required to confirm your reservation. Full payment must be completed before the commencement of your tour unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payments can be made only to the company accounts via bank transfer, mobile money (M-Pesa), credit/debit card, or other approved methods.
Prices on the website are in USD and may be subject to changes due to fluctuations in park fees, fuel surcharges, taxes, airline rates, or government regulations. The final and correct price will be confirmed in your official quotation, unless further adjustments arise after issuance due to factors beyond our control
Prices typically include accommodation, park entry fees, game drives, meals (where specified), and transport as outlined in the itinerary.
Prices exclude visas, international flights, travel insurance, tips, personal expenses, and any services not explicitly mentioned.
Failure to make payments on time may result in cancellation of your booking.
Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email.
Refund eligibility depends on the timing of cancellation and the terms imposed by hotels, airlines, lodges, transport providers, and other third-party suppliers.
Certain bookings, including flights, park fees, and special promotional packages, may be non-refundable. No refunds are given for partially used services.
Refund processing timelines may vary depending on banks and payment providers.
Travel Documents & Requirements
It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure they possess valid travel documents including passports, visas, vaccination certificates, and any other required permits.
SK Adventures shall not be held responsible for denied entry, deportation, missed flights, or travel disruptions resulting from incomplete or invalid documentation.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, evacuation, trip cancellations, baggage loss, delays, and personal liability.
Travel insurance is the sole responsibility of the traveler unless explicitly included in the package.
Health & Medical Conditions
Travelers are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to participate in booked activities.
Any pre-existing medical conditions, dietary restrictions, allergies, mobility limitations, or special assistance requirements must be disclosed before travel.
SK Adventures reserves the right to decline participation in activities where safety may be compromised.
Changes to Itineraries
While we strive to operate all tours as planned, SK Adventures reserves the right to modify itineraries, accommodations, transportation, routes, or activities due to weather, road conditions, safety concerns, operational requirements, government directives, or circumstances beyond our control.
Where possible, suitable alternatives of similar value will be provided.
Liability
SK Adventures acts as an intermediary between travelers and third-party service providers, including hotels, airlines, transport operators, and activity providers.
While we carefully select our partners, we shall not be liable for injury, loss, damage, delays, accidents, sickness, theft, force majeure events, or additional expenses arising from actions or omissions of third parties.
Participation in safari and adventure activities involves inherent risks, including wildlife encounters, rough terrain, weather conditions, and travel delays. Travelers participate at their own risk.
Force Majeure
SK Adventures shall not be held responsible for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, civil unrest, government restrictions, strikes, terrorism, airline disruptions, or extreme weather conditions.
Photography & Marketing
During tours, photographs or videos may occasionally be taken by SK Adventures staff or representatives for promotional purposes.
We will seek your consent before using identifiable images for marketing materials, social media, or website promotions.
Customer Conduct
Travelers are expected to behave respectfully toward guides, staff, local communities, wildlife, and fellow travelers.
Website Use
All content on the SK Adventures website, including text, graphics, itineraries, logos, images, and branding, remains the property of SK Adventures unless otherwise stated.
Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is prohibited.
Privacy
Personal information collected by SK Adventures is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Kenya.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
