Day 1
Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi at 7:00 AM after a short briefing by your professional driver-guide.
Travel north through the scenic central highlands, passing coffee plantations, small towns, and views near Mount Kenya region.
Arrive at Ashnil Samburu Camp in time for lunch.
After check-in and some relaxation, head out for your first afternoon game drive in Samburu National Reserve.
The reserve’s open savannah and riverine forest make wildlife spotting easier.
Expect elephants near the river, lions resting under acacia trees, and possibly the rare reticulated giraffe grazing nearby.
Return to camp at sunset for dinner and overnight stay.

Full Day in Samburu National Reserve
After an early breakfast, depart for a morning game drive when wildlife is most active.
Samburu is particularly known for leopard sightings along the riverbanks, as well as large elephant herds.
Return to camp for lunch and relaxation.
You may enjoy the swimming pool or watch animals gather along the river.
In the late afternoon, embark on another extensive game drive exploring different areas of the reserve.
Keep an eye out for the Samburu Special Five and predators such as cheetahs and lions.
Bird lovers will appreciate the reserve’s rich birdlife diversity.
Return to camp at sunset for dinner under the stars.
