Day 1
Nairobi to Salt Lick Safari Lodge – Into Kenya’s Wild South
Your Kenya safari tour begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel, residence, or airport in Nairobi. As we journey along the Nairobi–Mombasa highway, the bustling city slowly gives way to rolling plains, scattered villages, and dramatic African landscapes that set the mood for the adventure ahead.
We arrive at Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary in time for lunch before checking into the remarkable Salt Lick Safari Lodge. Later in the afternoon, we head out on your first game drive through the sanctuary in search of elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife that call this ecosystem home. As the sun sets over the savannah, return to the lodge for dinner while animals gather beneath the floodlit waterhole below.

Day 2
Full Day Wildlife Experience in Taita Hills Sanctuary
Wake up to the sights and sounds of the African wilderness as the morning sun rises across the sanctuary. After breakfast, we set out for an early game drive when predators are still active and wildlife sightings are often at their best. This peaceful part of the day offers incredible photography opportunities and unforgettable safari moments.
After some relaxation at the lodge and lunch overlooking the waterhole, we continue with another afternoon game drive deeper into the sanctuary. Your guide will help track wildlife while sharing stories about the ecosystem, animal behavior, and conservation efforts within the Tsavo region. In the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and another magical night surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

Day 3
Salt Lick to Nairobi – Farewell to the Wild
Enjoy an early breakfast before heading out for a final short morning game drive through the sanctuary. This is your last chance to soak in the landscapes of Tsavo and spot wildlife beginning their day across the plains.
Afterward, we begin the scenic drive back to Nairobi with optional stopovers along the route. Arriving in the afternoon, we drop you off at your hotel, residence, or airport, bringing your short Kenya safari holiday to a memorable close. Though the safari ends here, the moments shared in the wild will stay with you long after you return home.
